Will you be having a Covid shot this winter ?

Why?
Why not?
Barny52 · 56-60, M Best Comment
Yep cuz i like free stuff
Lilnonames · F
@Barny52 pulls out gun free shot🤣

AbbeyRhode · F
Hell, no! Never have, never will. The clot shot was designed to do to people what our government is doing to the country; destroy.
Nimbus · M
@AbbeyRhode I respect your decision.
Budwick · 70-79, M
No.
Because I don't trust that it will be beneficial, and may in fact be detrimental.
TexChik · F
Well , because I haven’t had the other 4 . 2 dear friends died from taking that sh*t!
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
NO. Not necessary and could be destructive to my immune system
Nimbus · M
@cherokeepatti A moot point that I respect.
its not being required for my job, so no. ive only been sick once in the past ten years, so, i am betting on my immune system.
Nimbus · M
Whodunnit · M
No. I simply don't need it. I've not had any of them.
4meAndyou · F
No. I had the shot and two boosters, and then I read the (Danish?) study that explores the possibility that it is easier to get Covid after a 4th shot. Apparently tweaking the immune system so much is not really a good thing overall.
Nimbus · M
@4meAndyou Food for thought there.
PTCdresser57 · 61-69, M
Yes and flu shot also
Nimbus · M
had 4 in in all,,may get a booster,,,,healthy and well,,,up for free stuff,,,
it's required as part of his job
Nimbus · M
@saragoodtimes f I remember correctly, a Doc?
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
No, I'll be getting it much sooner than that. Because our national health authority recommends it for people in my age range and because they did a good job during the peak of the pandemic.
Nimbus · M
@ninalanyon A priority?
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
@Nimbus Not especially, I'm just inside the highest age range:

Booster doses
New booster dose for the coming autumn/winter season

The Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH) recommends a new booster dose of coronavirus vaccine in the autumn to:

- adults aged 65 years and above
- adults aged 18-64 years with underlying risk of a severe disease course
- adolescents aged 12-17 years with severe underlying conditions.

Only the 65 and over are unconditionally offered a booster because older people generally have weaker immune systems.

Yes. all booked. As is the influenza vaccination. I had shingles and pneumonia ones last week (separately... well, same session but one in each arm!)

The nurse told me pneumonia has about 26 strains (I think I recall the number correctly).

"Big family, then, the pneumonia virus." I remarked. "Christmas must be expensive for it!"

Then I asked her if you contract both stones and shingles, does that mean you are turning into an old fossil? She laughed!

Sometimes a little black humour helps things along.
Nimbus · M
@ArishMell ✌️
Nanoose · 61-69, M
I will. One of the reasons is because if I don't get the shot I probably won't be aloud to visit anyone in the hospital. Cheers!
Nimbus · M
@Nanoose 👍
Torsten · 36-40, M
nope. I have had covid twice now and survived. I dont need a vaccine shot that does nothing except put others at ease
Dino11 · M
Got two Moderna shots, Moderna booster, got Covid and took Pavlovid.
So don't think so.
Ducky · 31-35, F
No. I don’t believe it necessary.
Nimbus · M
@Ducky ✌️
Baremine · 70-79, C
Haven't taken my first one yet and don't plan on changing. They don't work anyway. I think they make you more of a slave to the dictators in government.
Nimbus · M
@Baremine 👍
joe438 · 61-69, M
Nope. I had a reaction to an earlier one and the doctor advised against getting more. People who got the shots still got sick so I don’t see it’s worth the risk,
Nimbus · M
@joe438 👍
smiler2012 · 56-60
{@nimbus] yes i will be with working at the hospital even though infection rates are dropping .i have had it once this year so i am taking no chances nimby
Nimbus · M
@smiler2012 Good to hear 👍
shuhak · M
I already have as many as I can get. I have a hard enough breathing when I'm healthy. I sure don't need some virus making it worse.
Nimbus · M
@shuhak Take care 👍
Royrogers · 61-69, M
Yes turned down the fiu jab tho
Nimbus · M
@Royrogers 👍
Royrogers · 61-69, M
@Nimbus I have a COVID19 coming this week and did not want to mix them
Lilymoon · F
I haven't made up my mind yet 🤔
Nimbus · M
@Lilymoon Flip a coin? :)
Lilnonames · F
Nope nor flu shot. I dont need them. Once u get a shot u get the flu and covid over and over again and then u must keep getting then
Nimbus · M
@Lilnonames Good point.
Yep.
Same reasons as I got the flu shot.
Nimbus · M
@V00doo Safety first!
