What's Your Status?

Have you been tested?
Have you been exposed?
Are you positive for it?
Have you been vaccinated for it?
Are you an essential worker without hazard pay?
Did yo get a stimulus check for it?

I have continued questions regarding the "pandemic" that has been happening since last year in the US.

Everyone who is your boss, just remember they may be under a fire that you don't know about.
But the pressure is on for those who are fighting for you, the essential workers.
If you ask anyone who does want to tell it, they might tell you the real story. They might have a story about the virus and the bureaucracy and politics that followed behind it.

I have a story to tell about individuals who are hidden away and forgotten about. It happens in the nursing homes first and local hospitals who lost funding.

These are just some random thoughts from an essential worker who works in health care.

What is the exposure rate where you are?

I am just wondering?
I would like to know about other's experience with covid?

I tested positive back in April. For me it wasn’t bad at all, my asthma attacks are considerably worse if I’m being honest.

But, I did loose my sense of taste and smell for 4 months straight 😬
[@473155,MiserableAtBest] I didn't know you got it. 🥺 Glad it wasn't too bad.

Not tested, maybe exposed cause my mom " tested positive for covid" but then it was gone with antibiotics 😳😳 in couple of days. So, most likely bacterial pneumonia from masking. I walk around without a mask. My brother works in a hospiral and also communicates with me on a regular basis without a mask. Nothing

Exposure rate in NYC probably high.
MamaButterfly · 46-50, F
[@537009,MrsFugger1] I am not in NYC just in the north country of NY and to my knowledge, our governor has been following in his brother's and father's footsteps and the history of them have not been rated too exceptional in the north country.

[@333248,MamaButterfly] Excuse me, our governer does not obey the masks orders.
MamaButterfly · 46-50, F
[@537009,MissFugger] No he doesn't.

Never tested, had 3 bouts of really weird flu early last winter. No tests were available then, except for travellers coming from China. My asthma has been worse ever since. I still also have skin sensitivity and went into menopause shortly after.

The weirdest thing about it for me was the terrible brain fog and inability to concentrate on things, the sudden stabbing pains in my legs and arms that still persist (although diminished), and the strong smell of ammonia that persisted for days even when I wasn't drinking Buckley's.

Whether it was the covid 19 I had or not, it was a very weird flu and I was swigging Buckley's cough & chest congestion formula and taking vitamin D by the second bout. I was not coughing much but felt something weird in my lungs and had a premonition that I was going to die in the night. I was going through lots of other stuff at the same time. I remember being so stressed and frazzled that I threw my cell phone on the ground several times and smashed the screen badly.

No I never got tested, and knowing my own body I'm not going to risk the vaccine. However, I won't be telling other people not to get vaccinated, because it's their decision and the vaccines will most likely have huge benefits for the whole population.

This whole nasty pandemic pushed me to get tested for autism, which was very conclusively diagnosed through a comprehensive assessment online. Along with other conditions that commonly accompany autism. And this is after waiting 6 years to be tested for autism in Canada.

This has been my experience since Covid started. I was working for a federal agency program when the pandemic broke out in early 2020. I saw early on that our Governors of their state had their own agenda. We listen to political and world news while at the same time we forgot about those who actually listened.

That comes from the ears who know this, but also who want to come from someone who wants to put a bug in her ear.
I choose to not be the one to gossip but I also want to be a Voice.
Non essential.
Awaiting vaccination.
