My dad has a Lung Cancer.

My heart hurts for you. We have very similar sounding father experiences.

I made my peace and was there for him at the end. In fact, he had a nasty cancer and was comatose for a few weeks. When I first went to the hospital I touched him and said hi dad little gary is here and it was clear to everyone in the room he understood.

I was doing a cross word puzzle and talking to him about it, my feet kicked up on his bed and I said, dad you are a terrible cross word puzzle partner. I took a double check and he had passed within a minute or two earlier.

Anyway talk to him, you can be serious some but he can hear you so keep it light and share whatever memories you have and say the same memories once a day.

I’m sorry I made this about me. You are smart, do your own thing but I will say a prayer for all of Gods children who are suffering and I can do that. Be well

My mother was diagnosed with lung cancer, stage 4, early this year... She also went into a coma and never woke up. It was the best thing to happen for her, because there is just so much pain, and I genuinely wished she'd never wake up. I also wasn't very close to her, but still loved her so much. So sorry. If he is in coma, the fight is probably over. If he is not in coma, speak you his physician about tissue agnostic therapy.
