I Have Cancer

Finally found an online group for cancer patients and survivors! But it’s currently closed to new members because of demand....oh my, what does that say?
I’m hoping to find people to connect with that have my type of cancer, or are experiencing the side effects I am and/or have the same syndrome I do.
*sigh

Cancer does suck. There are at least several patient support groups. Did you try FB?

During my husband’s illness I joined a caregiver support group and found it immensely helpful.

No, breast, and I’ve tested positive on a gene mutation (Li-Fraumeni Syndrome) the protocol is for a bilateral mastectomy as I now sit at 50% of getting another primary cancer including breast again, so eliminate that but I have others to deal with including sarcoma, leukaemia, etc. It was devastating to get that news as now I don’t know if I passed it on to my kids - I have 2, and my daughter is pregnant 😞@Troy123
