I Have Gained Weight

It's not a lot of weight. Only 2.2 lbs., virtually nothing. A couple things about it bothers me.
I'm trying to lose about 30. I've only been training in earnest for a couple of weeks. The first week I lost 6.2 lbs. I figured it was because it shocked my body.
I knew the second week, I would have a tiny loss or a gain. That's been the pattern the last 5 years.
I can't say the gain surprised me, it was the just the amount, plus the timing.
I was hoping I'd be farther along on this weight loss, rather than at just the beginning. It almost feels like starting back at square one. Lol

If you're working out and gaining muscle gains aren't important. Measurements are. Start measuring yourself once a week. And no more. Make sure its first thing in the morning before you've eaten to drank. And only do that for a while. The changes might surprise you.

Not so much "working out" as power walking.

I have a feeling I need to start doing interval training again, both walking and running.

I think you should lose the scale for a couple of months. I say that because if I find that if I don't obsess over the numbers I weigh a lot less than when I do obsess and diet. Just keep doing what you're doing right but without the scale. You'll see.

Only problem is that it's Weight Watchers. You have to weigh in every week.
