What do you think of this breakfast?

2 eggs fried in olive oil + 1 apple + black coffee

It's lacking bacon, sausage, tomatoes, beans, fried bread, black pudding, toast and English tea.
Apart from that it's fine, lol.

@Nimbus I don’t eat pork or wheat breads so I would eliminate that. Probably have a cup of tea and speak in an English accent and pretend to be royalty is the best I can do 😂

@Stereoguy olives are everywhere, they bring you bread and olives when you order a meal. They put olives on pizzas, whole olives with the pits

Apple and black coffee will increase stomach acidity.

You need something dense to go with the coffee.

@SW-User I have a book written by a doctor who wants us all to stop eating wheat altogether, (he was a diabetic and is no longer), and he says to restrict apples to three slices, (wedges).

That makes sense, but I'm not diabetic. Well, I'm not even overweight. It's just that there's a certain weight that I'm most comfortable with which is only 2 kg (~4 pounds) less than my current. @4meAndyou

@Notsimilar I thought this breakfast is bland & basic as it is 🥴 so frying the eggs makes it more flavorful.

I generally move my breakfasts to lunch and skip the mornings with coffee and a little some bread.. with dinner whole eating ends up basically 2 meals a day. try it, you'll lose so fast

@Londonn your body needs some protein in the morning to wake it up and get it going. The best route if one is trying to lose weight is protein in the morning, fruit for morning snack, greens & protein at lunch, raw veg and nuts for afternoon snack, and greens at dinner and don't eat after dark. Works like a charm

@Jenny1234 well that looks right out of a dietitians mouth, I've seen enough of them telling whole different ideas and stories when I was helping my mom to lose.. crazy differences I swear. For instance protein in the mornings is probably for people who dont go out for work just to make their metabolism start cuz proteins are hardest to break but you can do it with just an orange full of carbo as well.. for me I dont need a protein, all I need is to run for the tube, it makes my metabolism start pretty good :) My whole point above is reducing the calorie intake by less full meals, which breakfast is the easiest to skip for a busy person.. tho just dont skip the goodies in the breakfast, eat the eggs and drink the milk.. etc
Increase your eggs by one more but just the egg whites. Ditch the apple, loaded with sugar, have blueberries instead.

@Jimthere4fun but apple has fiber which helps with the sugar. I like blueberries too.

Sounds nice, but I've never fried eggs in olive oil. I suppose I'll have to try it one day.

well the coffee is best replaced with a good tea but otherwise it's fine! although if you are hungry quickly this isn't a good option.
It's nice but I'll take a juice I don't like coffee.

Breakfast smoothies always worked for me. Greek yoghurt, banana, apple & mango juice, artificial sweetener and a spoonful of double cream for smoothness 🤤

For some reason I need to "eat" my breakfast, not drink it, but for a light dinner yup – smoothies are a great option for me. Thanks for the idea 💡@SW-User

Should be fine, the eggs have protein, the olive oil a bit of fat and the apple some fibre and energy. It's low calorie and should be fine. As long as you don't add sugar to the coffee, you should be able to limit your calories fine.
