Did you stand close to the TV back when it had real tubes in it?

Did you get a tan?

I used to get fussed at for sitting too close to the TV when I was a kid, but I was legit blind. It took them years to figure it out and get me glasses 😕

I would sit directly in front of the tv because I wasn’t allowed to have the volume above 1 or 2, so I would press my ear to the speaker on the side of one of those box TVs with the speaker on the front. And I would switch between looking and listening.

@zerofuks2give I would get in trouble if I made any noise or was heard, so I really thought it was normal until I was old enough to go to other kids’ houses, and the amount of noise they could make was [b][i]wild[/i][/b] to me 😅
