If humans were farmed for meat for other humans instead of cows, chickens, pigs, sheep, fish, etc. would we still eat meat ???

How would humans be 'butchered' for meat production? Would humans be lined up and led into a 'killing room' to be killed with bolt guns or similar?
If humans were forced to be more self-sufficent and not live in suburban enclaves with no self sufficiency, would our views on sourcing food and respecting those sources be different?
I think we are conditioned to have almost no respect for our food, and thinking about where it comes from is treated like a taboo topic in nearly every country where Christian religion is prominent.
