@nightjourney try red potatoes. The skin isn't as tuff and I often don't peal them at all. Even baked red potatoes I eat the skin.

Both potatoes and pasta are starches. So is rice.

@nightjourney gluten inflames my joints and makes them hurt and they’ll burn if I keep eating it. I had to figure this out on my own. If I ate as many wheat-based foods as the average person does I’d probably be in a wheelchair.

@nightjourney I was working at Walmart as a greeter after i retired from another job and the days they had me standing near the deli I could smell that bread baking and it would make my mouth water. I would buy a loaf of sliced French bread and go home and make garlic toast or sandwiches. It was after that my hip joint started hurting and then it got to burning so bad it felt like a flame shooter blowing fire down my leg. I figured it out after I quit the job and cut down on wheat….then it only felt like big needles in my hip joint. if I stopped completely it took 2 weeks to heal and stop hurting.
