tinder a waste of money and time

i joined tinder about a year ago...i paid for tinder gold which was 29 pounds a month...but i never got any interest from the opposite sex, in spite of me liking many profiles on there...it got frustrating to be honest...then i was advised that tinder is just a 'hook up' site for 20 somethings....not a male in their mid 40s.

finally i cancelled my subscription months ago and never looked back since, i realized i was being ripped off
