If a Native American food restaurant was built and opened would you try the food?

BlueVeins · 22-25
Hell yeah, I bet they'd have some vegan foods too! 😍
@BlueVeins They absolutely do!
Dino11 · M
Absolutely, great grandmother was 100% cherokee.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
Of course.
I mean technically most Mexican food is Native American in origin.
dancingtongue · 80-89, M
@basilfawlty89 Just ask a Spaniard if you doubt that. When stationed in Germany and my barracks mate and I decided to take leave together -- he had the car -- the only stipulation he had was it had to include Madrid. He was from Southern California and hungry for "Mexican" food (Cal-Mex), and the only two Mexican restaurants in Europe at that time were both in Madrid, next to each other. Both owned and operated by a former U.S. Navy Petty Officer.

Yeah if it was in Australia. I'd even try some kangaroo.
@GunFinger Do the aborigines eat kangaroo ?
GunFinger · F
@bijouxbroussard maybe not. I'm not really sure.
Adrift · 61-69, F
Yes. I have often wondered why we have restaurants from every culture but Native food.
If you have ever tried Indain tacos on fry bread they are great.

hypothetical might be worth looking at and see what there cuisine is and is there anything that catches your eye that is unusual [peaceandnamaste]
ElRengo · 70-79, M
Yes.
But cos of the restaurant, a novelty.
Native American food is not new to me.
And I like it.
Buffalo wings restaurants aren't native American cuisine 😲
jackson55 · M
Sure, I had Indian fry bread last weekend.
Freeranger · M
Hah well.......I suppose I would.
Tracos · 51-55, M

@BackyardShaman Bison is my favorite so yes.

Sampled herring roe once at a buffet-style native feast. Yukk - never again! Big 'Indian' guy behind me couldn't stop laughing.
That depends. What did they eat?

Of course. My friend’s mother, who was born in San Ynez taught me how to make acorn bread and a fish stew she cooked. I also use her recipe for bison chili.
lumberjackslam · 41-45, M
I already went to one
