British people, did you play hide the sausage during the power cuts?

Saturday's storm left thousands of British homes without electricity this Saturday night. With no TV, thousands of people had nothing to do, and traditionally in such dark times, the British play hide the sausage. So did you?

@vetguy1991 I'm from the South of England; we only say bangers when they are being served with mash, but people in the North of England might always say bangers. I'm not quite sure.

I assume most went to battery back up of their solar panel systems, yeah you know that 'first world' that some countries claim to be? Well here in the UK we are firster.
