With all the numbers necessary in our lives these days do you feel like a number?

I’m not sure what your feelings are on this matter but it seems we rush about our lives not really thinking about how everything is determined by numbers these days, and we don’t have a choice in this situation. Bank accounts, phones, passports driver’s license, all constructed using numbers instead of who we are.

Obviously, thinking about the frequency of how our names are used is the factor the state and the banks determine which Joe Bloggs you are!

No to be honest I've never really even thought about it. Because no 1 number defines me. The only way i would feel that way is if i were in jail or prison. I just always saw them as necessary. Because there's so many people in the world with the same name for example John Smiths. There has to be ways to differentiate us from one another. I remember my dad being handcuffed at 65 years old because his grandson, my nephew, who was named after him had a warrant for his arrest. I told the idiot officers to check the birthdate 🙄 i was 15 years old and even i had common sense smh
