I couldn't agree more. I do think we are finally beginning to wake up and recognize it and fight it. Yet we as a nation, indeed as a species, remain somewhere between disgustingly and wilfully racist to unknowingly/unconsciously racist.
We can't let it go - we have to call it out at every turn. We have to call it out and recognize it in ourselves, in our society, laws, policies, school, governments, etc. Not only that, but we need to acknowledge it as part of our history and teach our children of that history.
And that, for the moment is where I'll end my little rant.
