Cancel Culture does not get to decide who I am. No one can define me but ME.

Thinking about the last four years, I have come to realize that YOU, (meaning other people), who don't know me well at all, don't get to decide that I am this, that or the other thing.

I am tired of hearing the name calling and the abuse. We are not 12 years old. We are not THAT stupid, are we? Cancel culture wants to ruin lives.

Disagreeing on politics used to be the norm. NOW, cancel culture feels they must DESTROY those who disagree, and that will have a very bad ending.

But, just to be clear, I am NOT a racist, or a homophobe, or a Nazi or a member of the Ku Klux Klan, Don Lemon. I am a conservative.

The lefts behavior for the last four years has outraged conservatives, but this grand finale they are pulling is going to guarantee civil unrest for the next four years. My church teaches that we get the leader we deserve and all we can do is pray, so we won't be taking part in any kind of resistance. However I can easily predict that some of the right wing are going to do dreadful things from time to time. It may not be the right thing to do, but that is the level of outrage in a lot of cases, and what the left has d0ne, and is doing to us, is worthy of outrage.

@puck61 Stereoguy just told us, (on a post by Questionweaver), that he has a friend in the military, and that friend just received an email asking all troops to point out Trump supporters, so that they can be sent for re-education. THAT is actually worthy of outrage...and I believe I will write to the present President and inform him.

@4meAndyou That sounds like a tabloid claim to me right now. I am hesitant to believe that they are going to set up ' re-education' camps. Most of the military voted for Trump. I am sure of that.
Generally speaking weak willed weasels do not become soldiers.

@puck61 Unfortunately, there is a growing Democrat movement among our Military. It can be seen at West Point, and among the generals in the Pentagon, like General Mattis. Only by supporting the Democrats can the generals be assured of continuing wars overseas.

@4meAndyou Yeah, I[i] did [/i]almost get beat up during my in-patient stay at the VA hospital because I said good things about Trump. I just thought the bruiser was an exception to the rule.

@puck61 I am sorry about that. The military hasn't been a safe harbor for conservatives ever since Trump started bringing troops home from Afghanistan. The only fast track to promotion is during time of war. Military brass knows that.
