Cancel Culture does not get to decide who I am. No one can define me but ME.

Thinking about the last four years, I have come to realize that YOU, (meaning other people), who don't know me well at all, don't get to decide that I am this, that or the other thing.

I am tired of hearing the name calling and the abuse. We are not 12 years old. We are not THAT stupid, are we? Cancel culture wants to ruin lives.

Disagreeing on politics used to be the norm. NOW, cancel culture feels they must DESTROY those who disagree, and that will have a very bad ending.

But, just to be clear, I am NOT a racist, or a homophobe, or a Nazi or a member of the Ku Klux Klan, Don Lemon. I am a conservative.

i was censored on facebook. i can't even post in my high school group or homeowners page. i deleted Twitter when they removed the president. i wonder where these people were when Portland and Seattle and minneapolis was burning down??? it was a trap to get Trump to move in...they sacrificed their own cities to trap Trump. how sad this nation has become. AND how blind.

@akindheart Prayer and obedience to God is the only answer to the problems we face now. Whenever the Israelites misbehaved, God would send them a nasty judge. I believe having the left in power is simply a divine punishment.

The lefts behavior for the last four years has outraged conservatives, but this grand finale they are pulling is going to guarantee civil unrest for the next four years. My church teaches that we get the leader we deserve and all we can do is pray, so we won't be taking part in any kind of resistance. However I can easily predict that some of the right wing are going to do dreadful things from time to time. It may not be the right thing to do, but that is the level of outrage in a lot of cases, and what the left has d0ne, and is doing to us, is worthy of outrage.

@puck61 Unfortunately, there is a growing Democrat movement among our Military. It can be seen at West Point, and among the generals in the Pentagon, like General Mattis. Only by supporting the Democrats can the generals be assured of continuing wars overseas.

@puck61 I am sorry about that. The military hasn't been a safe harbor for conservatives ever since Trump started bringing troops home from Afghanistan. The only fast track to promotion is during time of war. Military brass knows that.

Amen to that! That's exactly why I have so many liberals blocked here. I've only seen one or two who are actually interested in respectful debate. Most just spew hate, lies, and personal attacks. It's ironic that they claim all conservatives are ignorant, when they are the ones spouting ridiculous stereotypes and calling names, like children.

I agree totally! How anyone can sum up who and what we are by our politics is... unbelievable! This whole thing is insane. I have family who thinks Joe is the answer to our prayers and .. doesn't have much to do with me anymore because I loved Trump. Their attitude is a crying shame. Hope they learn as they live .. how narrow minded they can be.

@cuppatea We have fallen into the habit of lumping groups of people together...enormous groups of people, and making generalizations about them.

I think this is the beginning of an huge problem in itself. We must always remind ourselves that there are no such groups. Instead, there are millions of individuals, each with their own unique differences.
