When some random person implies “diversity is not our strength”

Realistically, it depends what the diversity is. Diversity of cuisine, clothing, technology, etc can be pretty great if everyone's open minded about it. Diversity of terminal values are all-around cancerous though.

In order to survive and flourish, every living organism requires diversity. FACT!

A social construct is, by definition, a living organism. Ergo, in order for our societies to survive and flourish, diversity is needed.
