Heddiw, I dressed up as a Welsh fairy! Heno, I danced in the rain, and one young Welshman who I crossed paths with said that he didn’t dress up as anything when I asked him. However, when I told him that I was a Welsh fairy, he asked if I was one of the Tylwyth Teg (the Fairy Folk in Welsh mythology), I said “Yes!” (“Oes!”), When we parted ways a few moments later, we said “Noswaith dda”, and I thought that he was very nice! [i]And[i][/i][/i] the only person who really knew what I was going for with who I wanted to be on Halloween night!
Happy Halloween, everyone! From a Welsh fairy from the Tylwyth Teg with love! ❤️🎃🤗

Such a romantic story from Welsh folklore about a young man named Einion who grows up learning folk stories about the Tylwyth Teg from his great grandfather, Gwilym Dufn, and eventually he ventures far enough into the wild to find the Fair Family, himself! Olwen, one of the fairies becomes his true love, and I felt a little like Olwen that night!
