I Live In the United Kingdom

I am a UK citizen and I have a an EU passport. When we leave the EU, will my country also leave the UK. Because the UK is a collection of countries like the EU. And if the UK can leave the EU can Wales leave the UK?
Can Wales leave the UK? When I was your age -thousands of years ago-I was very much in favour of independence. And someone was on the TV the other day arguing for just that.
It’s theoretically possible-but we would have to have a referendum-look where the last one has got us!And I am not sure we we would be able to sustain ourselves.
Lovely idea though.

It does seem that way. Things are getting quite interesting here. Cofiwch Dryweryn is painted all over Wales. @EnchantedArtist2

The Prince of Wales is also the heir to the Kingdom of England. Messy divorce. Scotland on the other hand may well do.

@BlodynHafJones That's because you beat them at Rugby. Lol

In theory, but I fear too many of the inhabitants of Wales still identify as English, and will vote that down. Grossly unfair, but hard to see how to work around it.

@BlodynHafJones in the sense of running along a cliff-edge is interesting :/

Bizarre, is how I'd frame it :)

It it’s great ain’t it. We could be at the point where the UK falls apart! @firefall

@BlodynHafJones what shocks me most is how fast it's coming apart. But that seems to be the way with over-centralised power, when it fails, it goes fast, and messily :(

Wales can leave the UK but can't really sustain itself on its own economically so is unlikely to.
BlodynHafJones · 18-21, F
It’s bigger than Luxembourg. And a lot bigger than Singapore. @CountScrofula

@BlodynHafJones I'm just going what some friends of mine in Wrexham were saying. Smaller countries like Luxembourg set themselves up as tax havens so that a ton of corporate headquarters are there and everyone works for those corporations. Maybe that could work, idk.

Whatever the Welsh people want is the best course of action.
BlodynHafJones · 18-21, F
Exactly. Would you want to be the only small country left under a bigger country? @CountScrofula
