I Went to Italy

In italy they seem to knock things down...just so they can build them up again...and it always involves a hammer drill and a disc cutter. It starts at 7am until about 9am...when they go for calzone. By which time if you have been trying to sleep in...you are wide awake ...and it's possible to do so! Very little is then heard when they come back, if indeed they do, until they go for pranzo at about midday.
At 3pm there is a frantic flurry of activity...banging and cutting until 4pm.
Job well done it's then time for aperitivi and home time!
That's why the cost of building and renovation is so damn high in italy!
