Although we have a house, a holiday home, in the French Mediterranean coast, the Riviera, my Dad's side of the family originated in Liguria, and for a time we went to a family hotel, until we met our cousins from Portofino!
Holidays would then sometimes mean going to stay with our cousins in Portofino!
I have been there by myself, when I visited Milano and I enjoyed staying with my cousin Francesco.
