If Marine Le Pen is elected, it could mean bad news for Ukraine and the rest of Europe

Putin and his banks financed her last campaign (and this one maybe too) and she still has to pay back about €8M or even more.

- Russian banks financed her,
- France's far-right promotes the non-alignment of France. But it's often means as leaving NATO and becoming closer to Russia,
- She's far right, so the image of a strong man saving his country without being compromised by some political correctness is attractive.

She's not just pro Putin, she's on his payroll. In the event of her victory, she'd likely stop all assistance to Ukraine and oppose sanctions against Russia.

There's this CNN interview from 2017 in which she says that there has been no Russian invasion of Crimea, and calls Euromaidan a coup: https://www.cnn.com/videos/world/2017/02/01/france-intv-amanpour-marine-le-pen-b.cnn

Just one more dangerous ethno-nationalist seduced and compromised by the Russians. It's a shame people are only beginning to appreciate now how pernicious their influence campaigns have been.
