"You know nothing, Ted Cruz!"

Ted Cruz, the famous part time Texas Politician has spoken out (like some other US right wing morons) against Australias handling of the Covid Crisis. Now I am not about to defend our Federal government in any way. They had two jobs, Quarantine and Vaccine and screwed them both up. But the individual states managed the rest admirable (with the exception of New South Wales which followed the Federal lead)
Now Cruz is bitching about how heavy handed Australia is in keeping people safe, saying he always considered Australia as the "Texas of the Pacific" What a Goddam*ed Insult! He will be hearing from my Solicitors!😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Trump did an excellent job, and rescued this country from Obama's eight year disaster. We had a booming economy. Energy independence. (In fact we were the biggest producer on earth.) Secure borders. Better military. Lower unemployment and cost of living across the board. Higher wages across the board, and so much more under Trump. You people are blind idiots.

@Oberon1 Most of that is simply untrue.. And the few parts that are true are the result of subsidising the oil industry and by printing unbacked money. (Much of which was handed to the rich.
Now Obama DID do that throughout a genuine downturn in Americas fortunes, (Which came out of the Global Financial Crisis). But Trump then doubled down at a time when the nation should have been able to compete in the world.
Now if you want to discuss actual points I can do that. But if you want to just make unbacked Statements that even Fox news wont stand by, then deal with the fact that voting Republican causes cancer.😷
