Monday morning quarterbacking Biden's boo boo

From what I can gather the US had a secured airfield called Bagram. Perfectly serviceable and fully functional. The US abandoned it to the Taliban and is now relying on Kabal international to evacuate people? What is wrong with this picture? If I were going to bug out of Afghanistan and I had Bagram I would tell all the people likely to be effected by the bugout to gather at Bagram and I would begin flying them out from there. Of course I wouldn't leave all kinds of weapons and vehicles behind either but that is a tale for a different day.

Bagram had 8 runways and plenty of troops to effect the exit. Kabul airport has one runway. Complete failure of judgement. Heads should be rolling. Resignations should be coming in as fast as they can be printed.

This may be THE Biden clusterf**k of all clusterf**ks. Blood shed and treasure lost for nearly 20 years. 10,000 US citizens are still there beung told to hide. Afghan citizens are climbing onto military jets to get away. Billions of $$ guns, ordinance and equipment left behind for the enemy.
