@Virgo79 Biden gave his victory speech on the strike days ago! I knew it was BS, so that is why I was[b] wrongly[/b] smug when the news came. This was not "collateral damage". It was a completely wrong target that they tracked for eight hours. How the hell that happened is beyond me. They also lied about secondary explosions. This is just par for the Biden administration course though.

I mean destroying the completely wrong life and equipment. I know we have had so called "collateral damage" plenty of times, but apparently we have wiped out nothing but the wrong target in the past also.

@Budwick @MistyCee Yeah thanks. I have to do a 10th step on this one. Initially I was completely focused on the blunder and not the tragedy. A very bad sin on my part. It doesn't matter who did what, in light of 7 kids and three adults being deprived of their lives. I've been told that we regularly make drone strikes that kill non combatants with[i] no targeted infrastructure or personal whatsoever[/i]. If this is true, it's no wonder so many people hate us so much. I know there has been what is flippantly called "collateral damage", but I was not aware that we "regularly" hit bogus targets altogether. I'm not ready to accept that this is a regular thing, but if it is true, then it is horrible.
I acknowledge my lapse in moral integrity in my first thoughts on hearing about this strike. It wasn't sorrow or even anger. It was a smug satisfaction that my suspicions had been verified, and that is pretty bad.
