I Enjoy a Wide Range of Music
I am hopelessly obsessed with music. I believe that music is meant to be listened to in every conceivable situation and mindset - at least, that is the way I use it. Like a single constant in a sea of variables.
However, this presents its own difficulties; such as, finding the right music for the right scenario. Whereas appropriate music can compliment moods like a fine wine, inappropriate music can completely sour it... all resulting in the ceaseless search for the right soundtrack.
Bearing in mind that we as humans can experience an infinite number of realities and mindsets - our music should be able to embody the same. Only then will the soundtrack suit the situation.
This struggle is intensified when you limit yourself to only a few genres. I enjoy a wide range of music because it enables me to have the right music at the right time - and there is no situation that cannot be improved upon by adding quality tunes.
