I Love Austin, Texas

Of course, I love Austin. People are very laid back and friendly. I always feel welcome every time I visit Austin. I was there last year for my birthday and enjoyed how strangers showed me so much love up there when I spent my day shopping around at one of their shopping malls with my birthday sash on. It was a very fun experience. I like how people in Austin embrace weirdness and originality. But of course, they have their own slogan, "Keep Austin Weird."

The small town where I live at, I hardly ever get that type of extra warm hospitality. Next year for my birthday, I plan to go up there again to make my birthday more special and enjoyable since this year I didn't get to.

It's been too long since I've been back. My favorite non-Madison, Wisconsin college town/state capitol in the country.

@SW-User I felt it was a lot like Madison except on steroids. lol. I guess everything is bigger in Texas.

@SW-User Just a bump to this. Austin was rated the best state capital to live in by something called Wallethub. Madison was second. See I knew they were similar! 😎
