Did you grow up in the city, the suburbs, or the country (roughly speaking)?

I know some places blur the lines, but if you can make a generalization for this poll. :)

I'm definitely a city boy, from Brooklyn (thankfully grew up in an actual house with a yard and not an apartment). I've always enjoyed visiting the country but don't know that I could choose it over a city long-term.
