James 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.

So the lesson is that only through faith in Jesus who took our sins on his shoulders because he loves us, can we enter heaven.
How’s cult life going Carazaa? You still embracing the lifestyle?
Carazaa · F
@LilithoftheTrees I would sacrifice my daughter? No I have not said anything such. I have quoted Bible verses about loving God above everything, and that actually makes us love our families more. I love my daughter, she is amazing!
@Carazaa I will point out, I asked you if you had a choice between saving your daughter’s life and loving Jesus, you said you’d choose Jesus. Now you can deny all you like but I remember what you said. I know you also delete comments on your posts that you term evil or hateful, for simply disagreeing with you. Anyway I’m not here to have long drawn out arguments with you or anyone else. I stand by my point, you do have a cult mentality. That’s all I have ever said and I still do. I don’t think you’re a bad person, I just think you’ve made religion your entire identity, again, cultish. Like I originally said, if it makes you happy and you aren’t hurting anyone, good luck. I’m done with this post now. Thank you, good day.

I don't believe you know what a cult is. Having an actual relationship with Jesus and loving people because of that, and wanting to share my hope of heaven, giving $10,000 to various agencies in September to feed famines around the world, and to help the needy, witness here on SW, forgiving and loving people regardless and not partaking in sinful behaviors is not cult.

Cult is the opposite, it is not forgiving people who have hurt us, and being judgmental and isolating ourselves from the world, gossip, violent, and attacking people who actually are christians.

@Carazaa According to the book of Revelation, how will Gentiles ever get into into New Jerusalem when there are no gates for them to enter into the Jewish city?
Carazaa · F
@Diotrephes Revelation 20:4
And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

Revelation 5:10
And have made us kings and priests to our God;
And we shall reign on the earth.'

Revelation 20:6
Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

Psalm 8:6
You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet,

Revelation 19:15 We will be reigning with him as the earliest verses mentioned.
Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Matthew 25:21
His lord said to him, "Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord."

Luke 19:15-19
“And so it was that when he returned, having received the kingdom, he then commanded these servants, to whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. Then came the first, saying, ‘Master, your mina has earned ten minas.’ And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.’ And the second came, saying, ‘Master, your mina has earned five minas.’ Likewise he said to him, ‘You also be over five cities.’

1 Corinthians 6:2
Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

Revelation 2:27
'He shall rule them with a rod of iron;
They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter"s vessels"— as I also have received from My Father;

Revelation 3:21
To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Revelation 11:18
The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come,
And the time of the dead, that they should be judged,
And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints,
And those who fear Your name, small and great,
And should destroy those who destroy the earth."

@Carazaa
You are either a slave to Christ or slave to sin. I am a slave to Christ and I will follow him forever until he gives me a crown in heaven. If we love him he promises to give us a crown and carry out the judgments and rule with him.

1 Corinthians 7:21 (CEV) =
"Are you a slave? Don't let that bother you. But if you can win your freedom, you should."

@Carazaa
Revelation 3:21
To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Don't you think it might get crowded on Jesus' throne or will it just be one person who has ever overcame?
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@OogieBoogie Joel 2:17 (CEV) =Tell my servants, the priests, to cry inside the temple and to offer this prayer near the altar: “Save your people, Lord God! Don't let foreign nations make jokes about us. Don't let them laugh and ask, ‘Where is your God?’
@Diotrepheswell that's two words.

The irony of your name isnt lost here. Using a characters name while trying to dispell the very thing in which you found it is funny.

Almost hypocrisy one would say....😏
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@OogieBoogie Thank you for the kind words.

@Diotrephes Yes it happened, Jesus was born in Bethlehem, and we celebrate his birthdate, Christmas!
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@Carazaa
Yes it happened, Jesus was born in Bethlehem, and we celebrate his birthdate, Christmas!

The true purpose is not to celebrate his birthdate but to recognize him as the king of the Jews.

It is restated in Numbers 18:29 (ERV) = "When the Israelites give you one-tenth of everything that they own, then you must give the best and the holiest part of these things as your gift to the Lord."

So, does that mean you don't eat pork? Does it mean you don't mix meat with dairy? Does it mean you don't wear t-shirts that are cotton poly mix?
pianoplayingsteve · 31-35, M
@LordShadowfire I never said you did
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@pianoplayingsteve I see you're a simpleton, and I need to be much more clear as to what I mean.

Shut the fuck up and crawl back under your rock.
pianoplayingsteve · 31-35, M
@LordShadowfire It is quite rich being called a 'simpleton' by someone who resorts to personal attacks. I will not stoop to that level

2 Peter
that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
