Sin is necessary for free will. It serves no purpose if you can’t chose a different path other than the one god has set before you. And it doesn’t automatically make you evil. Without feedback, nothing grows.

Here’s a question for you.
Do you believe god has everything all planned out in advance. And that he knows our future ?
If so, then free will is a lie. We are predestined for whatever comes, including Hell. So sin is not our choice if the outcome is already decided.
Adam and Eve were set up to fall from the start.
If god doesn’t know the future, then sin is a man made concept. We decide what is right and wrong. And we make the rules, not god. Time and circumstances tip the scale.

@DocSavage We don't have to be slaves to go to Heaven. we need to Obey God, God asked us to Love one another:
'All the way to heaven is heaven, because Jesus said, I am the way.' St. Catherine of Siena
Lucifer desired to be Adored, to replace God.
Adam knew he was sinning this is why he said:
“The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit from the tree, and I ate.” Genesis 3, 12.
He knew he wasn't supposed to be dominated by his wife because she was his company not his head.
"For the husband is the head of the wife just as Christ is the head of the church, the body of which he is the Savior." Ephesians 5, 23
If we know the future we can obviously do something to change our own future, who knowing they risk going to Hell would do the exact thing that can get them there?
"On the other hand, those who prophesy speak to other people for their upbuilding and encouragement and consolation." I Corinthians 14, 3
Adam and Eve were living in Paradise, they were tempted once and sinned, this reveals human weakness, not predestination.
Nobody would go to Hell if they didn't sin, because nobody is punished for what they didn't do.
“The one who is righteous will live by faith.” Romans 1, 17
God knows everything including the future, this is why Prophets are speaking on behalf of God.
"William of Ockham rejected premise, arguing that the necessity of the past does not apply to the entire past, and God’s past beliefs are in the part of the past to which the necessity of the past does not apply."

Bible beating bollocks.
If god knows the future, then he knows who is going to disobey and sin . He knows who will be going to Hell and he doesn’t do anything to prevent it. You can not have it both ways.
"Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven"
not surprising people rebelled.
As I mentioned in previous post, a god with a plan make no practical sense in reality. If god can create the people and events to accomplish some agenda, why not simply create the create the desired end at the on set ?
God’s only function would only to set things in motion. Then sit back and see what happens.
