Power In The Cross
The power of the cross is not found in what I do, but in what Christ has already done for me. However, if we say we love Christ, we will also strive to live daily for Him by example, and not shame His name. We will not use our weaknesses as an excuse to sin. We will instead, desire to show Him by example, how much we love Him.
"Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man cometh to the Father, but by Me." John 14:6
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all." 1 Timothy 2:5-6
"For it is by grace (UN-earned favor from God) that you are saved, through faith, not by anything you have done; it is a gift from God to you, not anything to do with works, lest any one of you should boast." Ephesians 2:8 and 9.
