A life lesson about mixing business and friendship.....

About a year ago I read a story about how Pop Star Lady Gaga was being sued by a woman who used to be one of her personal assistants.The woman alleged that Gaga both failed to pay money that was owed her as was personally abusive towards her on the job.The story mentioned that before taking the job,the women and Gaga were personal friends.When I read that,I rolled my eyes.Now,I admit that I have no idea who was right or wrong in that particular situation,but I do know this:whether you are an office manager or a world-famous rock star,you NEVER hire pepole you consider personal friends to work for you-especially as direct underlings.Its practically and invitation to disaster!
