so Kevin Spacey found not liable...what do you think?

@DIABLISS No, and I’m definitely not saying it happens as often or in the same way. But it does happen, and it is both viewed and treated differently, so a lot of guys don’t report it. Firstly, they don’t think they’ll be believed.
@bijouxbroussard women are rarely believed. did you see Unbelievable? i was treated worse than that
@DIABLISS I haven’t seen it, but I’m very sorry to hear that that happened to you.
There have been circumstances in the U.S. where certain women were believed without question, even when they weren’t truthful, and there are other places in this world where raped women have been punished for adultery (if you can imagine that)
Sexual assault is a horrible thing to happen to anyone. 😞

1) he had the best defense he could afford
2) the case should have been brought much sooner - it was 36 years ago
3) the jury heard all the evidence and said "nah"

just browsed one report - sounds like Kevin Spacey picked him up - set him down and climbed on top of him...doesn't sound like it's worth $40 million to me either

you have to question motives - he may not have been able to file a police report based on the time - and sounds like there was little evidence

now did he do it?

not sure - the guy was 14 at the time - if he did then spacey should have gone to jail 35 years ago
@Pretzel his attorney got sick with covid though.

i find it odd in the world of "me too" that people didn't jump on the bandwagon to get Kevin Spacey. Didn't anyone see him during a party go to a bedroom with a fourteen year old? or come out with a fourteen year old? i am surprised people didn't just say they did see it.

The other accusations that i followed were just money whores...that was pretty much proven. so i guess he is off the hook but his career has been ruined just the same.

and yes, 40 million is too much for this offence. This happens to every woman in the world on a Tuesday. Those women should get 40 mil

If he’s not guilty he’s not guilty
@Morvoren but do you ever wonder what really happened?
Morvoren · F
@DIABLISS No. it’s not really a story that’s got my attention.
@Morvoren i really like Spacey as an actor so i really followed it

I dont think anyone here knows the truth to know whether or not its a good thing.
I've always liked Kevin Spacey as an actor, and I think his treatment was unfair as well, given that nothing was proven.
His reputation smeared and ruined, every project firing him right away, just by the mere association.
So now even if he's completely innocent, his life is still messed up.
@Axelerator so true

Its a bugs life
Not liable for what?
@SStarfish sexually assaulting that actor when he was 14

I met Kevin Spacey briefly twice. No ass grabbing by anyone. I don't claim to know him personally, but, like another person often raked over the coals(Alec B) I know for a fact that they give their time to, and raise money for, charities without publicizing it. So, while they are decidedly NOT perfect people, they have done good---they have given back.

So Kevin had his day in court, and as usual, it probably won't change anyone's mind.
@uncalled4 interesting

I am not following his latest case but I judge based on my intuition and whatever facts I read. Spacey likes young boys. Spacey has knowingly slept with boys in their later teens.
Thats all I know.
@REMsleep what young boys do you know that he slept with?
