@Nebula It was. But it was worth it; the last thing I gave him, when he had given me so much.
Mbingh01 · 61-69, F
@Nebula so sorry for the loss of your dad. What is the smoke and incense for?
Nebula · 41-45, F

Nebula · 41-45, F

Mbingh01 · 61-69, F
@Nebula what is the purpose of that?
Nebula · 41-45, F
@Mbingh01 something about the Soul going to heaven
Yes, its what profoundly proved to me religion isn't what its said to be.
@checkoutanytime i didnt grow up or have any other Catholic interactions, it was totally bazar, knowing the good book in a different perspective.
MethDozer · M

Every funeral I've ever been to has been Catholic, except one.
Catzgano · 31-35, F
Unfortunately yes
Catzgano · 31-35, F
@Nebula it’s ok it’s just way too much. Wake, funeral. Graveside. The only people that make out are church and funeral homes
Nebula · 41-45, F
@Catzgano yes its a lot.
@Catzgano all their life paying and obeying for a song and dance, helps explain history, i speculate.
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
Unfortunately, I’ve been to far too many of them.....I have a large family, most of whom are Catholic.
Nebula · 41-45, F
@DragonFruit Im sorry
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
@Nebula Having a large family is a good thing, but having funerals isn’t. Wakes are often a lot easier to deal with than the funeral masses.
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
[c=800000]Many times. I was raised Catholic. [/c]
DrWatson · 70-79, M
Yes. In my family, and some friends and colleagues as well.

Beautyisamonstrosity · 31-35, M
@Nebula I'm catholic so I never been a proper funeral sighting?
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
One time when I was very young, it was the funeral for a distant cousin.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
Many of them and they are so long
Adstar · 56-60, M
Yes. On a number of occasions.. Why?
Oster1 · M
Yes. I think they are the most beautiful celebration, of ones life.
Rocky101 · 51-55, M
Too many 🙏🏻
MougyWolf · 36-40, M
Yes, a few. I don't want that for me when I go, a wake.. maybe.. just toss me in a heap in the forest maybe, that would be better.
4meAndyou · F
Yes. My family was Catholic, so I have been to two Catholic funerals. I suppose you could say three, because my father had two funeral services. One where we lived, and another in Iowa, at a small Franciscan chapel, where he was buried.
TheFragile · 46-50, M
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Frankly, I don't even know. As ignorant as it sounds. It was a Christian funeral, most probably Catholic. How do they differ from each other?
SW-User
No, but I'm kinda curious about funerals in other cultures tbh. Not that it's my favorite subject since it's saddening but always good to have a clue.
Oster1 · M
I have been to many and like I said earlier, they are an incredibly beautiful, celebration of ones life. I am Catholic.
Too long they are....Dramatic Final Weekend in REC 2022
Romania looking to secure a Rugby World Cup 2023 repechage spot as Georgia and Spain battle for the title.

Everyone has just about recovered from the excitement of last weekend in the Rugby Europe Championship 2022 when Georgia and Spain sealed Rugby World Cup 2023 places, Romania bagged a crucial bonus point and Portugal’s hopes of going to the ‘big dance’ were left hanging by a thread.

And now there are two more massive games to come on Saturday and Sunday as the event comes to a close – and there are loads riding on both…

On Saturday, Romania know that a win of any kind away to the Netherlands will see them earn third spot in the World Cup qualifying table and another crack at making it to France via final repechage event.

Then on Sunday all eyes will turn to the Dynamo Stadium in Tbilisi (6pm local time, 2pm UTC) with the equation simple, whoever wins between Georgia and Spain will be the Championship winners and lift the trophy for this year.

Both games will be available to watch live on rugbyeurope.tv

Two big matches in the Rugby Europe Trophy Today!
There is plenty at stake in the final few games in the Men’s Rugby Europe Trophy, with two potential spots to the highest competition in the Rugby Europe pyramid – the Rugby Europe Championship up for grabs.

The Rugby Europe Championship will expand to eight teams for the 22-23 season, therefore two teams in this year’s Trophy tournament could be eligible to move up, if they meet certain on and off field criteria.

There will be no relegation from the 2022 edition of the Championship.

The current top two teams in the Trophy at the moment, Belgium and Poland, will also be vying to win a special trophy for the first time this coming weekend.

With Belgium second in the table and Poland top, the clash at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Brussels (3pm local time, 2pm UTC) on Saturday.

Germany are third in the table with one win from three to date and they know a big win over bottom of the table Switzerland is needed if they are to try and put pressure on the top two.

That match kicks off at 2pm local time, 1pm UTC in the Sportzentrum Martinsee in Heusenstamm.
