My father's conception of the afterlife:

My mother died last December, and my father died this past August.

A few months after my mother died, I was sitting with my Dad, talking, and he said, "I'll tell you, I'll be a lot happier when I'm where your mother is."

Then he got a worried look on his face, and in all seriousness added, "I just hope I can find her!"

He always did try to see the practical side of things! 😅
