No, it isn't worth it! That deal has you paying for the company's car doing company business. In addition to that, you won't have control of the insurance policy because the beneficiary would be the company, not anyone else. Always keep company business (including cars) separate from your own affairs. If the company was truly offering you anything of value, it would cost you 'zero' each month, not $200. Don't fall for that 'company car' crap-trap if you can avoid it!

Im in the same situation. Its a good dealbut my company also works me hard and I travel alot so I don't really feel that they are giving me anything for free if you get my meaning.

Of course it is, as long as you keep your personal vehicle maintained

It would be if it's totally up front. Problem is I don't see how they can justify it on the ledger end.

It's why companies require milage reports and such for IRS purposes. I know this because I had to report mileage monthly as well as other expenses. I actually was getting a second income because of those reports. And that was just work milage.

Also I hope you get a company credit card. Because gas you'll need everywhere as well as unexpected repairs.
@DeWayfarer true true.. I have an advantage that the area I cover is pretty big.
They got us to record miles for the first 3x months to gather an average of what we potentially do in distance.
Also I’m under a government contract..
so.. kind of a blank cheque scenario..

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I was the company rover. I traveled to as many as four different cities in one day. It was a huge extra income at times.

Once had to report going over 200 miles because of a fire blocking the whole area.
I got a company car.. the money I save on fuel and registration each year is priceless.

And that was before the inflation and high prices..

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Do they make repairs at that amount of money?
@Iwillwait lolz no. They hold you hostage until you pay for what needs repairing .
And you can’t take it to another mechanic. Cause it’s computerised.

New South Wales is the most over taxed nanny state on the planet. Imagine Canada.. on steroids

I think It's a good deal.
