Ikr. I could not imagine running around a restaurant all day, having to survive on tips just to make ends meet

It's low bc society allows companies to screw people over and if you say anything about it, you'll get a never ending list of excuses defending bad business practices

The wait staff is supposed to split their tip with you? If they don't, I would clear their tables last so they don't get quick customer turnover = tips. If they complain I would say I didn't see it. When I waitressed (years ago) I would that.

I agree, it's hard work for minimum wage.
