Incompetence In Business 😤
I noticed my marker lights were burned out on my car. So, I went to Auto Zone - it's the closest car parts place to me - and they had two of the three packages of lamps I needed. I had them call their store a few miles away, which they did, to find they DID have more of the same product in stock.
I pre-paid for the product to have them hold it for me. When I get there, I'm told they don't have any in stock. I told them, "the store down the street just called, and you told them you have it in your inventory."
He said, "yeah, but those numbers don't mean anything." WTF???
IF THE INVENTORY DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING, WHY TELL THE CUSTOMER THE ITEM IS IN STOCK JUST TO HAVE THEM DRIVE THERE TO FIND OUT IT'S NOT???!!!
IF IT'S NOT THERE, WHY WOULD IT SHOW IN THEIR INVENTORY????
Waste of time and gasoline. AND NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY.
Just, "Nope, we don't have it."
I DID get my money back for what I didn't get. So, at least I got that. 😤
