@NewKidInTown Yes, I wasn't a chicken mother very long either. They were pets only.

Bird poop, in general, can be pretty toxic if you're cleaning a coop. Mine were free range except for nighttime.

@SW-User I’ve heard that about bird poop, so we’re always washing our hands after handling.
We’ve considered a chicken coop as well, as recent city by-laws now allow for it

@saintsong They always want to be around people. If I go to one end of the yard they come waddling over, if I go to the top of the deck, they manage to hop up. It’s cute
