Let’s cut to the chase. Ariel the mermaid is daughter of the Greek king Trinton. So she’s Greek. Not black or white. Lovely olive skinned Greek.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh. You’re welcome

@SW-User but it is not a double standard when a fictional magical creature is portrayed by a black whitevor brown actress
SW-User
@InOtterWords the fact you can't see the double standard is because your racist. You yourself have used white as w racial slur during our conversation and posted anti white propaganda, so indoctrinated you're not aware of how ludicrous your statements are basically implying white people are racist because Greek and Italian statues are made out of marble 😂
Your brain is poisoned. You'll fall over yourself to justify taking a beloved white character and woke washing her. Taking a story ironically written by the reviled white man from white culture and can't see the hypocrisy - that that right there is cultural appropriation

That's on you.

Welcome to the world you've created

If you racism is a cure for racism, you're deluded

1. It's Triton not Trinton
2. He isn't a Greek King he's the son of Poseidon. A God, not a Greek.
@summersmiles A Greek god though; therefore created in the image of Greek people. Speaking of which, did you know the Ancient Greeks painted most of their beautiful marble statuary?
summersmiles · 51-55, F
@summersmiles when I was growing up there was an all black musical of the Wizard of Oz on Broadway, The Wiz. Was even made into a movie. Nobody had a problem with it as I recall.
Why do so many people have a problem with this now?
SW-User
@summersmiles good question!
But Americans love their white people
@BrokenAbyss Yeah I guess
Oster1 · M
@BrokenAbyss Yes, those crazy 'white', Americans! 🙄
@BoredDarkLord @Oster1 What’s funny is I didn’t understand this post when I commented because I didn’t know people were actually bickering over the skin color of a fictional character. It was a joke and the pc police are after me for not being a well informed Disney movie snob hahaha
ArcticDave · M
Thinking for yourself? People aren’t going to like that.
Is this a big concern in your life?
@TheSentinel Not at all. I’m just being the Good Samaritan and cutting through the jibberish…
@BoredDarkLord Well, it must be somewhat important to you, since you felt a need to address it.
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
Well I mean there’s plenty of logic to that…

Let’s cut to the chase, they are the creations of a culture which needed some phenomenon to explain things they couldn’t understand.
Rokasu · 36-40, M
Well if Little Mermaid was an anime she'd be white regardless. If she was any darker tone it'd be a hentai 😏
SW-User

And get rid of the disgusting ginger hair too lol
Except the Greek God Triton is actually Libyan

So African
@WanderingSavage my point is they are mythical creatures .... so why assign a race to them?
You however do not realise that mythology is not the same as history

Also.... why go to an alt to attack me? Too scared to come at me fro. Your main account?
@InOtterWords There’s a bare faced back track.
@BoredDarkLord show me a screen shot of where i said this?
SW-User
But. I didn't know they had red heads in Greece?
