There is a difference between a Ghost and a Spirit.

A ghost is the remnant energy of a soul that left a body that was still energetically vibrant. These energy disintegrate with time. Until then, this leftover energy manifests itself in the shape of the physical body, which on rare occasions enters the experience of a person, terrifying the hell out of them.

These residual energy, however, do not have their own identity, intelligence, or consciousness.
So there is nothing to fear about.

No, but have had occasional experiences unsettling because I cannot easily explain them. Doesn't mean they are inexplicable themselves, just not by me at the time.

I have had hypnogogic dreams and similar sleep-mechanism effects that are probably the cause of some of the most common "ghost" experiences.

I do maintain some degree of belief in ghosts, the paranormal, and other phenomenon that defies any form of rational scientific explanation.
