I Am Gay

I see a lot of people saying that labels don't really matter (which is totally cool and fine) but does anyone else really like labelling themselves? I personally love telling people that I'm gay 馃槀

Labels (like names) have their purpose. I鈥檓 fine with calling myself bisexual, or having others call me bisexual (or even gay, though it鈥檚 not entirely accurate).....and even though those labels don鈥檛 completely/accurately define me, I鈥檓 not going to get too upset by people trying to define me with labels. Labels are what we use to define/distinguish one person (or thing) from another (with varying degress of accuracy).

Labels can be useful. I have tons. I collect them like beanie babies.

馃 Why does telling people your self-imposed label feel so good to you? *Lights pipe and leans in.*

@MarkPaul @MarkPaul I don't know, to be honest. Just do.

@alutalica 馃 Okay, that's valid. *Taps pipe gently on table, re-lights it, takes a slow, meaningful, and productive draw on it, and leans back.* Go on...

as a person that has been disabled from birth I have run into, been labeled with my fair share, to me Labels vs No labels isn't as important as The Right Label

I had a label, read it in one of these psychology books but I forgot it so I guess I don't know what I am .
I clear my picture too sweety...
