I honestly wonder how either of you would know when you're both virgins and never done anything? Focus on just what you both know of vanilla sex first, then make your mind up if you both want to try alternatives. You can jazz up vanilla sex with hand cuffs, or just firmly tell her where to place her legs or you can move her body yourself with and say "I want" or "it pleases me when" sentences.
