When I say I'm submissive or that I adore confident, dominant men that lead, I'm not saying I will submit to you. Like any other kind of relationship, D/s to me needs trust, respect, and a connection between two people. It's not just sexual. I need to feel his dominance in all facets of my life, not just the bedroom. I crave his control and guidance. He knows my needs, desires and when to push me past my limits. He gives me tasks and sets goals for me. I strive to serve and please him everyday as I am his.

@olderuncle944 You know that I've known Rose for years... and I'm not sure that the person who I was talking to was even Rose.

They knew that I am in the lifestyle - but not that Sire and I had parted ways... which you and Rose both knew about. "She" didn't recall that fact and I had to recap.

The whole experience feels fishy to me... the unexpected contact and this person not remembering a huge deal in my life - the whole "he just wants you to know" isn't right in my mind, either.

I don't have doms queuing around the block for me... but I'm not exactly short of doms that I know and trust, either. I've been in contact with one for at least 4 years - and there's my former sire, too.

I did well holding my peace for almost 2 and a half years (even though he made contact back in March) but this has me wondering if I need a Doms' perspective. I reached out to my dom friend, but he's a little slow in replying to me.
