I don鈥檛 know. If the winds don鈥檛 die down I won鈥檛 be outdoors any more than I have to. I want to be outside working on something in the back yard but it鈥檚 way too windy鈥irt and stuff blowing around.
Nebula41-45, F
@cherokeepatti its been windy here too the past few days

Well I am now that I heard about it. I have a pretty good telescope and a pretty good pair of binoculars so it makes it real cool to watch. Cheers!
Nebula41-45, F
@Nanoose awesome, enjoy! It peaks on yhe 22nd-23rd
ChipmunkErnie70-79, M
Nope -- I've tried SO many times in the past and never seen a thing. I guess there's too much light and air pollution around here.
Nebula41-45, F
@ChipmunkErnie luckily I live in a good viewing area
ChipmunkErnie70-79, M
@Nebula I found it SO depressing years ago when I realized my kind was never able to walk outside at night and see the Milky Way overheard the way I did as a kid in the 1950s. Just a couple dozen stars visible usually back in the 1990s.

The meteor is going to have a shower? Is it on a porn channel or something? Sexy meteor with lots of suds????
Nebula41-45, F
@hippyjoe1955 sure, thats what it is
hippyjoe195561-69, M
@Nebula Well a meteor is a falling star and I am pretty sure no one wants to watch Will Smith shower so which falling star is it? I hope not one of the Kardasians.
Probably not. I did read that my area is prime location to observe the full solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. That ill probably checkout.
Bri8931-35, M
I didn't realize that there was one. But probably not.
Wol6251-55, M

Nebula41-45, F
@Wol62 yeah
Wol6251-55, M
@Nebula Awesome, hope it's an enjoyable sight.

The Lyrids? They will peak the 21st and 22nd. A couple of problems this year: the moon will be at 67%, reducing meteor visibility, and where I live, it's typically cloudy/rainy in April.
Barny5256-60, M
didnt know but will try now ,,can we see in UK ?
SW-User
Is the meteor that stinky ?
uncalled456-60, M
No. I'm scared of watching a naked meteor.
