I feel that it is so hard to communicate with people

No...it's hard to communicate with people who have their eyes glued to their phone or laptop screen 24/7. Technology has done us no favors, when it comes to the need of real-time personal interaction. I see society suffering from it. More suicides from feelings of anxiety, depression, and isolation. People can't even stand to part with their cell phones, long enough to go grocery shopping, and forget visiting parents. They may as well have stayed home, as they never hear what you're saying anyway, because their mind and eyes are focused on who just texted them, or if they missed a text, God forbid!! Or who messaged them a minute ago, "did he/she get MY MESSAGE? If so, why didn't they answer right away? Are they mad?!!", or they're watching the pop up screen. It is taking a toll on society, distancing us and desensitizing us, and people don't care nor recognize it, either.

While some try to talk to others, all they see are their friend's or relative's fingers flying across their phone or they're reading what's coming on the screen, next. Who needs it?

They shouldn't even bother, if this is what they call a "visit". So we sit alone, which is much better than being ignored, any day. Animals do a MUCH better job at being attentive, loving, and caring. Then we wonder why we drift further and further away from each other. Meanwhile, cyber bullies victimize the weak into suicide. This world has gone nuts. It has made people self-absorbed and selfish, as well. No more hugs.

@LadyGrace it is indeed a low point

At least, even with the internet, we didn't use to rip eachother to shreds
@SW-User No doubt! 🤗

@LadyGrace 🤗 thank you
I seem to have a talent to reach people, but when I drink I feel I need to turn that skill into being a jerk and then I wonder the next day why I behave that way?

@Disney There are:

Happy drunks..
Sad drunks..
Violent drunks..
Flirty drunks..
And Jerk drunks..

Once you find out what type you are and decide you don't like it then thats the time to cease getting drunk .... If you can overcome the addictions that is.. Or maybe if you cannot overcome the addiction maybe it's best to drink alone..
@Adstar I'm usually a happy drunk, but last night my neighbors were misbehaving and I took it out on the Internet. Still no excuse for my behavior.

I plan on having a nice day today, but I do feel bad upsetting some nice people on here last night when they didn't deserve to be treated that way

Don't give up, the beginning is always hardest.

It is not easy to find them, but apart from the anonymous masses above, there are a few (very few) people too in the green space under the ground.
The forever distance, it feels, between what we mean to say, have felt we said, and how it's interpreted. I'd float up some balloons through that crack, too.

@FullMetalFatPig Yes, it works both ways. Hugs
@FullMetalFatPig I like all you said. Especially "talking with the right people".
