Tahli is daughter to Mazie, full sister to Coco, born January 2017. She is one of the most inquisitive members of the Koala family at The Maze, Bullsbrook, Perth, and also one of the most photogenic! She absolutely loves interacting with Guests and is the first of the Koalas 'up and at em' during the daily Koala experiences. Tahli is also known to have a bit of a cheeky look about her!
Update on my Adopted Koala. Tahli, 4 1/2 years old, she is doing what Koalas do. Eat and sleep. Tahli has joined the breeding program and most likely, within the next 6 months, my beautiful Daughter Tahli, will have her own Joey. Then Gusman will be a Grandpapa 馃グ Tahli's future little ones 馃檪
A couple of weeks ago I heard this grunting up the back...sounded like a pig and there are no wild pigs in this area. The second time went for a look, couldn't see anything. Then this evening I heard it again....guess what a Koala up one of my trees. Of course by the time I went back to the house to grab my phone it had gone. I will be prepared next time. They are not endemic to this area but are not uncommon. I am guessing it is a young male looking to establish territory.
@CoffeeFirst Koalas are becoming an endangered species here in Australia because of uncaring Politicians granting Logging Companies and Developers carte blanche to destroy their habitat
@CoffeeFirst What is happening here, because people can not mass protest at the logging sites, the Companies are going hell for leather, cutting down as many Eucalyptus Trees, the Koalas food trees, as possible before restrictions are lifted. All with the backing of the NSW Government. Criminal. But no Politician will ever be held to account. Mongrels
