With all due respect, that's an incredibly shallow perspective you and your mother have on the matter. It's not a scam, it's so those animal shelters can keep providing shelter, food and care to the pets they're housing, which costs a lot of money and most are nonprofit organizations that do not receive government funding, so donations are essential for them. Even if they really didn't need any donations, your mother does not raise a valid point just because the pets shown appear to be in good care. That's like saying the cancer patients in the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital commercials appear to be in perfectly good hands, so one shouldn't donate to them.

@Ducky No lol

@pride49 So why do you seem to think the dogs have to be? Maybe they do have dogs that really look in poor shape, but they just happened to have their better-looking ones in the commercial. Regardless, like I said, it doesn't mean all of their animals are perfectly fine.

@Ducky I guess

How are these shelters supposed to keep providing a decent life to animals? Where are they supposed to get their money from?
News flash, a lot of animals are fellow dog/ human killers.
Expand on this. Why should animals be left to starve and die? Actually integrate this into your post if you're serious about articulating your ideas, lest you come across as someone with half a brain lmao

@deadgerbil I meant doghouse not shelter. In the videos the dogs appear well fed, groomed, and has hay in their dog box. Yet we are supposed to believe they are abused
