I used to own a greyhound. She was a beautiful dog, very gentle and only aggressive toward toddlers, unfortunately. I adopted her from a family with a hyperactive toddler and she had begun to attack him. Everything was fine for more than three years, and then my son learned to walk, and she bit his face.
