Today makes 3 years.

Today is 3 years nicotine free. After multiple failed attempts of quitting, on this day 3 years ago I just threw my vape and all my juice away. I know some feel like the cold turkey method is harder but slowly tapering off never worked for me. Also, throwing my stuff away on a whim was more effective too because setting a quit date always failed me. It just gave me an extra sense of the dread knowing that I’d be experiencing withdrawals soon and I’d find excuses to keep moving the date back.

I’m glad to be free of it. Good luck to anyone attempting to quit. I know how hard it can be.
I never even started up I think part of me felt like my diet was already so wildly unhealthy I didn't need to add extra bad vices on top of all of it.

For me it's not something I can actually help without major help from mental health professionals because it's A.R.F.I.D

the only drug I ever got curious enough to try was mdma and that didn't last very long at all before It was like I learned about investment and trading and it was like yeah um I don't like coughing up the 50 every few month anymore even though I only use once a month at most. Don't regret the experiences they were amazing and very healing but drugs are just a huge money pit we don't need to pay into.

congrat though.

Good for you. I also found cold turkey to be the only way that works, I've quit before for 2 years and I'm on day 3 of having stopped smoking again atm.

Tbh I always find myself just feeling chilled and sleepy after the initial day

Well, you’ve done it once, I know you can do it again! @Ryannnnnn

I quit smoking and drinking one day about 6-7 years ago. Only the first month was tough.

If I want to relax, of recent, there’s always weed. But that’s not critical to me having fun like the other two used to be.

Congratulations to you! I'm lucky enough to have never smoked, but I know plenty who have and who have also quit successfully! Well done!

Thanks! I wish I had been able to ignore the peer pressure initially. @SW-User
Great job! I am sure you feel more healthier because of quitting
Imsleepy · 31-35
Yep, much healthier. @Jimthere4fun
Nice! Do you still get any cravings and or have they gotten easier?
Imsleepy · 31-35
Very rarely will I get a slight craving these days. It only last a couple seconds if I do. @canusernamebemyusername
I smoked for a few years in my early 20's and I quit cold turkey too.
